Prior to the games, Nat Cook put up an enthusiastic exercise to warm up the players. Afterwards, game time finally began and was fired up by Malouf Pharmacies. All of the participants – young or old, were all in game mode and clearly gave it their all. Shout outs to Sol Breads who made it to the final eight with zero beach volleyball experience.
The Sandblasters won two games but equally lost as well, and unfortunately failed to make the quarter finals this year. Nevertheless we had an awesome time and are proud to have been a part of this fundraising event and are looking forward to entering the battle field again next year. Who knows it might just be the year we take out the championship, third time lucky they say.
