Matthew Harris

CA, BBus, MCom, AGIA ACG (CGP), ACIM

Matthew doesn’t see himself as a consultant or external adviser, but more as a partner of each business and client he works with. Heading our Pharmacy division, he assists clients with his extensive industry expertise and can develop unique solutions for clients’ particular challenges.

As the Managing Partner of MSI Taylor Business Services, Matthew understands that businesses in Australia currently face an economic climate that requires increasing efficiency, productivity and innovation. His skills include acquisitions, structuring, financial management and planning.

If he’s not at work – you’ll catch him mulling over a nice red, or driving around on his tractor – hopefully not both at the same time.

Shane Thomas

FCA, CTA, BCom

Shane has a very ‘plain talk’ style to business advice, being energetic and proactive in assisting his clients meet their goals. He’s passionate about helping develop strategies to grow revenue, profit and overall business value and takes a hands-on approach in understanding each client’s unique processes and drivers.

Being a bit of a gym-junkie himself, he specialises in the health and fitness industries, as well as having broad experience in construction, property, retail, medical and hospitality. And he knows a lot of stuff about SMSFs.

Oh yeah, and he’s an auditor, too.

Mark Connolly

BBus, MFAA

Mark‘s 30 years’ of experience in the finance industry has given him an insight into numerous industries, economic cycles and demographics. He’s been around enough to see it all.

His philosophy is to be part of his clients’ management team working with accountants and lenders to help them in continuing to grow. He can assist with finance for personal or commercial requirements:

Julie Holland

CA, BBus, GradDip APP SC

Julie has built her career around a pharmacy specialisation and from that, has also built a reputation for her particular knowledge in that area. Add in experience with hospitality, dental, medical and high-wealth investors and you find Julie provides friendly, efficient and reliable service to clients giving them a detailed insight into their business performance.

Julie admits to an interest (more of an obsession really) with technology – specifically developing business information systems and streamlining workflow and procedures for high efficiency gains.

Cameron Anderson

CA, BBus

Cameron joined MSI Taylor as a graduate in 2011. So, he’s done the hard yards working his way up to Manager level, all the while learning and growing his own particular skillset as a detail-guy in the tax and compliance space, with a pharmacy specialisation.

Cam loves understanding the nitty-gritty of clients’ businesses, and has a head for technology. He’s very procedurally-driven and likes to make sure that clients are getting the best out of their software and are able to understand the key drivers of their business and what the numbers mean.

Sammi Gu

CPA, BBus

Sammi has been part of the MSI family for over 10 years, moving from Senior Accountant to Manager over that time. As a CPA, she has over 16 years’ experience working across all facets of accounting and tax, and holds a special interest in business strategy.

Outside of work Sammi loves dining out experiencing different food and wine when she’s not keeping busy wrangling her twin daughters.
