Matthew Harris: CA, M.Comm, B.Bus, MANAGING PARTNER

Matthew Harris has been in public practice since 1987. He prides himself in being so much more than just a number cruncher. He really gets involved in understanding a business by visiting their premises, talking to their staff and seeing their processes and procedures in action.
More

He doesn’t see himself as a consultant or external adviser, but more as a partner of that particular business. He strongly believes that it is only once you’ve become a part of the team and experience what they are feeling, that you really get an understanding of your client and their business.

Matthew is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the Certified Practicing Accountants. He is also a member of the Institute of Corporate Secretaries and Administrators. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Business, a Graduate Diploma of Professional Accounting (Management Major), a Master in Commerce and numerous qualifications in Business Management.

Matthew’s areas of speciality include:

  • Business Improvement
  • Acquisitions/Valuations
  • Cash Flow Management
  • Benchmarking
  • Partnership Disputes
  • Matrimonial Reports
  • Court Reports
  • Pharmacy Expertise

Matthew also heads our Pharmacy division and has in excess of 20 years experience in the Pharmacy industry. He is a Fellow of the Australian College of Pharmacy Practice and Management and was involved in the development of the original business management course offered by the AIPM. He also works with the Pharmacy Guild of Australia as a qualified Quality Care Assessor and provides advice on business management issues.

Matthew understands that businesses in Australia currently face an economic climate that requires increasing efficiency, productivity and innovation. He believes he is able to integrate his existing pharmacy knowledge with his specialised consulting ability to provide the skills and tools required to successfully compete in this environment.
